Privacy Policy (Datenschutzerklärung)

1. General Information

This website is an unofficial, non-commercial fan-made companion and loadout randomizer for the video game Witchfire. We respect your privacy and process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).

2. No Cookies & No Tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics or Matomo). We do not track your browsing activity across other sites or profile user behavior.

3. Local Storage

To preserve your custom preferences (such as your character stat constraints and bead slot count for the randomizer), this application stores these settings locally on your device using browser localStorage (key beadUserStats). This data remains strictly on your device, is never transmitted to any server or third party, and can be cleared by you at any time through your browser settings.

4. Server Logs

When you access this website, our web server temporarily records standard technical connection data in log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• Request method and resource URL
• HTTP status code and byte count
• Browser user-agent string and referrer URL

This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure system security, detect and prevent malicious attacks, and maintain service stability. Server logs are kept for a limited duration and automatically rotated.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data, as well as the right to restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

For questions regarding data protection, please contact the site operator indicated in the Impressum.
